ABOUT ME

I am a licensed psychotherapist providing online therapy to make mental health as easily accessible, minus the commute, parking, and waiting lobbies. I have been formally working in the field since 2010.

Through my education and training, my approach to therapy has evolved over the years with diverse work experience across multiple cultures, languages and context. I am a Director at a nonprofit serving people with mental health and/or substance use disorders. My role is to integrate care among programs to bridge treatment gaps. Additionally, I supervise graduate level trainees/interns and mentor.

Striving to offer a safe environment with the ever-changing dynamics of our times, I believe Trust and Compassion are integral to dealing with life transitions or challenges in our relationships.

Being a mindfulness-based guide who is focused on finding the root cause(s) of issues and assess their present impact, my efforts are concentrated in addressing comprehensively, the needs for mental well-being of a person, family, and couple in their relationships.

Bringing mental health and substance treatment awareness along with improving resources in mental health care for underserved communities is a cause I value. My contributions include conducting workshops and lectures that promote healthy relationships and understanding psychological issues to reduce mental health/substance treatment stigma. I have interned with the United Nations in Geneva and supported grassroots efforts in Mexico, Thailand, and India.

I enjoy discovering places, music, books...and familiar people in new ways.
